Communications Office requests Easter Vigil and Easter Mass times
Easter Vigil and Easter Mass times — as well as livestream information — for all parishes in the Diocese of Erie will be available in one place on the diocesan website at www.ErieRCD.org. This makes it easy for anyone to find information about these celebrations at parishes throughout the diocese. The Communications Office requests that parishes send the following information by Wednesday, April 6:

  • Parish name
  • Parish town
  • Parish contact
  • Parish contact email
  • Easter Vigil Mass time
  • Easter Mass time(s)
  • Indication of which Masses will be livestreamed
  • Where the livestreams can be accessed online (providing the actual URL, rather than just listing parish Facebook site, will help people find you most efficiently).

The goal is to be as welcoming as possible for those who have not been attending Mass regularly or who do not belong to the parish. Please submit the information to Rich Papalia in the Communications Office at rpapalia@eriercd.org.

Diocesan webpage created to support Ukraine
A diocesan webpage has been created to keep people updated on ways they can support the people of Ukraine. Please click the banner on the main diocesan website at www.ErieRCD.org to learn about regional donation drives, prayer resources, or other ways to donate online. Send information on any additional donation drives or support efforts to Patrice Swick in the Office of Social Justice and Life at pswick@ErieRCD.org. Information on the page will be updated regularly.

Marriage Matters newsletter available
The monthly Marriage Matters newsletter from the Tribunal Office of the Diocese of Erie is attached.

Memorial cards being distributed to parishes and schools
Memorial cards printed upon the recent death of Bishop Emeritus Donald Trautman are being sent to parishes for distribution at Masses, in schools and through faith formation programs. The cards include Scripture, insights and a strong vocations message. Cards for schools were included in the parish mailings; high schools will receive their own packets. Your assistance in making the cards available to parishioners, students, faculty and staff is greatly appreciated.

Insurance coverage
All parishes, schools, agencies and other entities that have service agreements with the Diocese of Erie are asked to update their files with the current contact information for insurance carriers:
