Quo Vadis Days 2026—Resources Available
The Diocese of Erie Vocations Office and the Office of Communications & Advancement have created a variety of parish resources to help promote Quo Vadis Days 2026, taking place June 28–July 1, 2026, at St. Mark Seminary. Quo Vadis Days is open to Catholic young men finishing 8th grade through 2026 high school graduates who are discerning God’s call in their lives. Materials can be found at: Quo Vadis Days Parish Resources.

Staying safe online: Impersonation scams are on the rise
Fake job scams are now the third most common scam worldwide, and the same techniques are used to target employees at work. Scammers may pose as recruiters, vendors, executives, or IT staff—even using deepfake voices or video that sound slightly “off.” They often build trust over time before asking for sensitive information such as IDs, banking details, passwords, or one?time verification codes. Any request that feels rushed, unusually generous, or confidential is a red flag—pause and verify through a known, trusted channel. Here is a one-hour webinar on spotting scams: https://youtu.be/QY8s1iKKiQA?si=oib2M9FTk-j7WbkW.

Eucharistic Processions for Corpus Christi—Sunday, June 7
On the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, Sunday, June 7, parishes throughout the Diocese of Erie will host Eucharistic processions as a public witness to the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.

All are invited to participate in prayer, adoration and thanksgiving as the Blessed Sacrament is carried through parish communities across our 13 counties. Visit the diocesan website to view a full listing of Corpus Christi procession times and locations. Parish graphics and promotional resources can also be found on the diocesan resource pages.

Parish resources available for USCCB's “We Hold These Truths” 250th US anniversary initiative
The Office for Divine Worship, in collaboration with the Office of Communications & Advancement, has prepared parish resources for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ “We Hold These Truths” campaign commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States. Resources for parish use during Mass, Adoration and other parish activities—including bulletin inserts, social media graphics, prayers and a letter from Bishop Lawrence T. Persico—are available at https://www.eriercd.org/250-resources.html. A dedicated landing page for the faithful has also been created at https://www.eriercd.org/250.html.

As part of this effort, the Diocese of Erie is participating in “250 Hours of Adoration,” encouraging one hour of Eucharistic Adoration per person between June 11 and July 4. Parishes are encouraged to host Eucharistic Adoration during this time. Adoration opportunities submitted by parishes will be published on the diocesan website for the faithful to join. Please email your parish Adoration date, time and location to IBEditor@ErieRCD.org
