Miracles & Prayers

The two miracles of Carlo Acutis:

1. 2020 - Mattheus Vianna, a young Brazilian boy, was healed from a rare congenital pancreatic disease after he touched a picture of Carlo.

2. 2022 - Valeria Valverde suffered a serious head injury in a bicycle accident in Florence. Her mother prayed for her healing at the tomb of Carlo and that same day Valeria began to breathe again on her own.

Prayer to Carlo Acutis:

"O God, our Father, thank you for giving us Carlo, a model of life for young people, and a message of love for all. You made him fall in love with your Son Jesus, making of the Eucharist his 'highway to Heaven.' You gave him Mary as a beloved mother, and with the Rosary, you made him sing the praises of her tenderness. Accept his prayer for us. Attend especially to the poor, whom he loved and helped. Through his intercession, may I receive the grace I need... for the glory of your name. Amen"

Pier Giorgio Frassati’s 2 miracles:

1. 1933 - Domenico Sellan, suffering from terminal bone tuberculosis, was healed after praying to Frassati and receiving a picture of him. This healing, considered a medical impossibility, led to the opening of Frassati's cause for beatification.

2. 2017 - A seminarian, Father Juan Gutierrez, experienced a miraculous healing of his Achilles tendon tear after praying to Frassati through a novena.

Prayer for the Courage to Be Great:

“Heavenly Father, Give me the courage to strive for the highest goals, to flee every temptation to be mediocre. Enable me to aspire to greatness, as Pier Giorgio did, and to open my heart with joy to Your call to holiness. Free me from the fear of failure. I want to be, Lord, firmly and forever united to You. Grant me the graces I ask You through Pier Giorgio’s intercession, by the merits of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen”
