Make your home (or at least a room or two) simple, as if you were going into the desert with Jesus. Take down or cover pictures, put away rugs, clean rooms and declutter. Embrace the space this creates in your heart.

Learn a new chore or take on a responsibility someone else usually handles. Do it with love. Serve others as Jesus served us.
