The St. John the Baptist/Holy Rosary Little Food Pantry is a frequent stop for many residents in our neighborhood in East Erie. These are folks who need some help putting food on the table.

Earlier this month (on August 4, 2026), The Little Food Pantry, located on East 26th Street, between the St. John’s rectory and the church, received a welcome gift from WJET TV and the Superstore Joe and Auto Express Resale Center. A $250 check was presented to Fr. Jim Piszker from the Loving Giving Local program. Grateful for the support, Fr. Jim dedicated this gift to support our mission and the people in our neighborhood by stocking the Little Food Pantry.

Each week WJET-TV reporter Lou Baxter and Brian Logan, GM of Auto Express, visit a non-profit who is making a difference in the community. Names of non-profits are submitted as nominations and randomly drawn.
