Grace and Mercy: A faith-filled walk through Lent

Lent is the Catholic Church’s season of penance, marking a time of prayer, fasting and almsgiving in preparation for Easter. It begins on Ash Wednesday and continues through Holy Thursday. The season includes six Sundays, with the final one, Passion (Palm) Sunday, ushering in Holy Week. The observance of Lent dates back to at least the fourth century, with its 40-day length reflecting the time Christ spent fasting and praying in the desert (Matthew 4:1-11).

Below you will find resources and materials for you and your family to deepen your faith during this Lenten season. We invite you to join us on this Lenten journey.
